Here at ADM we like to keep up to date with the latest research and ideas. We came across the following report from Two Sides. They are a not-for-profit organisation which seeks to reinforce confidence in the graphic communications supply chain.
We loved this report as it champions paper and doesn’t apologise for its use in direct mail.
For example, it talks about how customers continue to value paper based communications and that electronic alternatives also have an environmental impact.
Direct mail can be sustainable and that doesn’t always mean using recycled paper stock. Using paper from sustainable forests, especially paper which is FSC certified, can have less of an impact on the environment than using recycled paper. More about this is included in the report which can be found here.
The future is certainly bright for Direct Mail.
